Selva, Selve, Selves
Du latin silva, désigne soit celui qui vit ou travaille dans le bois, la forêt, soit plutôt celui qui habite un lieu-dit (la) Selve. Les noms Selva et Selve sont surtout portés dans les Pyrénées-Orientales. On trouve la forme Selves dans la Dordogne et les départements voisins.
